The One and Only Bungalow - sleeps 4. One king size bed and two twin beds. Heat, air conditioning, bedding, linens, towels, dishes, utensils, spices, hot plate, electric fry pan, electric tea pot, toaster, coffee pot, television, radio, dining table with 4 chairs and reading lights. Hot water outdoor, secluded garden shower.

$75 per night, 1 - 3 people

$95 per night for 4 people

* 2 night minimum on weekends *

1 night reservations accepted, but you will be bumped for 2 nighters
Rig / camping / tent space - 7 campsites with electric and water hookups. Additional camping spots available without hookups if all spaces are taken.

$20 per night

Horse fee - our pens, your pens, tied to your trailer or on a picket line. It costs $10 per horse per night.

We have 15 individual pens, 2 covered stalls and a picket line location for 2 more horses. Bring your own 50 foot rope for the picket line.

Rules and Regs
 
We can accommodate 6 to 8 rigs with electrical hookups at this time. 2 of the spaces can fit Big Rigs up to 60 feet total length.
Weather permitting, extra dry camp spaces are available (no gravel, water or electricity). $20 per night plus horse fees.
 
Reservations suggested, last minute calls encouraged. This is a weather dependant riding site, so CALL US if the weather looks good! We probably have room for you.
 
Cash and check only. No charge cards.
 
Negative Coggins papers must accompany every horse. No exceptions!
 
No shavings are provided. Pens have sand.
 

Unleashed dogs are not allowed in the McKinney Roughs park.

Dogs ARE allowed at Happy Horse Hotel but must be tied.

 
No pets in the bungalow ever, please!
 
Children under the age of 16 cannot be left unsupervised in camp.
 

Facilities
 
14 individual 17 foot diameter secure pens and 2 12' x 12' covered stalls.
 
We can now accommodate rigs up to 60 feet long, but the total number of rigs we can fit in is dependant on the sizes of the rigs and the weather forecast.
 
ON SITE RIDING! 9 lovely wooded acres with dirt trails and small log jumps. The Horsey Gymnasium!
 
Fire pit, some wood, several Weber grills, picnic tables and a few plastic lawn chairs. Dining Deck at the Giddyup Gift Shop.
 
A lot of stars, singing coyotes and cute chickens.
 
Artists in residence! Ask about Christmas shopping!
 
The McKinney Roughs equestrian entrance is 2 1/2 miles up Pope Bend Road, back towards Highway 71. Ferry service available.
 
McKinney Roughs discount daily ride tickets are available from us for $5 per horse/rider. The usual price is $10 per day.
 
Gas and Convenience Store 3 1/2 miles away. Groceries, laundry, Wal-Mart, Tractor Supply, feed store and restaurants are 13 miles east in Bastrop or 20 miles west in Austin.
 
Tractor Supply Co. in Bastrop near HEB grocery store.
 
Austin, the Live Music Capitol of the World, 20 miles west.
 
More facilities will be added, this is just the beginning!
